The color is right up your alley, but the shape and the texture are throwing me off....it's too reminiscent of grandma's afghan. Would look adorable over a casual dress or jeans, but I don't know about a wedding gown...
Now, a tailored cashmere cardigan (wrap style or belted for a little something different), I could totally see that!
with two friends, each pursuing the same mission: plan beautiful and personal weddings perfectly suited to our unique styles.
One, swept up in a whirlwind romance, is moving off to tropical Hawaii to follow her passions while planning to wed in Washington, D.C., the city of her parents. She is a dramatic and glamorous lady; traditional, quirky, impeccably well traveled. She is a lover of illegal cheeses and a skilled harpist.
The other, settled down in Atlanta with her college sweetheart after a life of wandering. Part indie designer, part line leader. A planner to the extreme, she is folksy, cultured, equally quirked. Spare the sports (unless its marathon running), bring on the modern art, colonial american period dress and crafting.
Love the idea. It reminds me of that great photo in Martha Stewart with the bride and the yellow cardigan.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it! Makes a bold statement!
